Sandtray Workshop 3 and Retreat:
May 5th and 6th

Workshop 3 builds upon the first two Sandtray workshops, expanding the ways in which you can use this medium and also explores some of the reasons that Sandtray Worldplay is so effective by learning the basics of neurobiology. Neurobiology is a rapidly expanding field of study that sheds new light and provides relevant and helpful knowledge for ourselves as clinicians as well as information that is helpful for our clients.
Saturday is retreat day; a day for you to give yourself attention and nurturance in the relaxing and peaceful setting of the Healing House, using Sandtray Worldplay for your own personal growth and exploration.
Workshop 3 Objectives:
- Gain a basic understanding of neurobiology and how it informs the efficacy of Sandtray Worldplay
- Learn how to use Sandtray Worldplay with families and family dyads
- Learn additional techniques of using sandplay for therapeutic interventions
- Learn to find resolution of difficulties through the use of sandplay
STWP Retreat: (no CEs for this retreat day)
- Personal and professional renewal and enrichment
- Consultation discussions of the uses of Sandtray Worldplay in current cases
